Sciatica / Pain in Sciatic Nerve

One woman had come to me who had severe sciatic pain which was aggrevated by a chiropractic adjustment*. By working the reflexes in hand for the shoulder and the hip, the pain was alleviated within 2-3 minutes. I taught her how to use those reflex points on herself and she could feel the difference immediately.

Normally I work on sciatic pain using the feet. I work the reflexes for the shoulder, the hip, and the sciatic & referral to sciatic areas to reduce the acute pain. The kidneys and/or the adrenals are almost always the aggrevator and it is essential to work those reflexes to get effective results.

Chiropractic adjustments do not normally go wrong. In this case it was a matter of not being familiar enough with the patient and the adjustment needed to be a bit lighter. The chiropractor changed his method of treatment to use an activator (a little machine that resembles a potato gun).
If you experience any adverse reactions from a chiropractic adjustment, do not necessarily discontinue treatment. Inform your chiropractor and ask them if they can use another method or do a lighter adjustment using the manual method.
