Intense Lower Back Pain, Ovarian Cysts

I worked on a woman this past week who came to me with severe lower back pain as her major complaint. She also indicated that she was fatigued, and that she had been hospitalized in the past month for extreme pain in the lower back area. Obviously I had some ideas before I worked on her feet...

As we talked she indicated that she had battled with kidney stones throughout her life and that although the medical doctors couldn't find anything wrong with her during her hospitalization, she felt it had something to do with her kidney's. 9 times out of 10 the intuition is dead-on....

Part-way into the session I could feel extreme stress in the reflexes for the Kidneys, Adrenal Glands and the Ovaries. All of these can indicate lower back pain as they are referral areas*. I focused on these reflexes, with special attention to the adrenals. We worked for less than 30 minutes, using extremely light pressure, as the pain was so intense.

The next day, there were bruises on top of the adrenal reflexes which were painful even to the slightest touch. I've never witnessed such a reaction... We skimmed over the adrenals andn focussed on the ovaries and kidneys for the next treatment and were able to do a full hour session. We set an appointment for the next morning as well, in which we were able to work the whole feet with light pressure, including the bruised adrenal reflexes.

The progress was slower than desired the first day, but by the third everything was working as expected and the pain was relieved. Diligence is key.
