Supporting Adrenal Glands & Endocrine System with Reflexology (Acupressure)

After many requests, here is a quick tutorial on how to work the adrenal and associated reflexes.
In the body, the adrenal glands are located on top of the kidneys and are essential in much of the body's hormonal regulation. (See Adrenal Fatigue & Depression or HolisticOnline.com)
In the feet, the reflexes for the adrenals are located directly south of the big toe, just above the waist-line. If you push the big toe back towards the shin, there is a ligament that sticks out in the middle of the big & second toes. Just on the medial side of this ligament is the adrenal reflex. The kidney is on the lateral aspect, just beneath the adrenal.
According to chinese medicine and acupuncture/acupressure meridians, weakness in both the kidneys & adrenals are common causes of sciatic pain as well as any hip, lower back or leg pain.
When using reflexology to strengthen the adrenal glands to balance hormones, be sure to address the other important glands, especially the pituitary, thyroid & hypothalamus.
